Welcome,
The Iowa Beta Riverside Corporation, a non-profit organization, is the house corporation for Iowa Beta. The Board is comprised of SAE Alumni from across the nation with graduation years ranging from the 1960s to as recent as 2002. Since 1919, the Board's mission has been to provide Iowa Beta undergraduates with a safe and enjoyable place to live, while helping them to get the most from their collegiate experience. In addition to overseeing the chapter house, the Board advises the Chapter on various matters, which helps to ensure that SAE's legacy at the University of Iowa will be maintained for future generations.
The effectiveness of the house corporation board is dependent, in part, on its abililty to attract SAE Alumni to serve for a two year term. The Board holds meetings during the first Monday of each month, which are usually set up as one hour conference calls. The total time commitment required of each Board member is less than five hours per month. If you would like to learn more about serving on the house corporation board, please let me know.
